Who we are

What is stored, and where

• Reading size: the A, A+ or A++ button in the header saves your choice in the browser's session storage. It disappears when you close the tab.
• Your cookie choice: the banner and the panel below save your answer in the browser's local storage under the name cookie_consent, together with the time you answered. It stays until you clear your browser data or change it here.
• Nothing else: no identifier, no profile, and no information about which pages you read.

The panel lists the categories that tools of this kind normally use: advertising storage, analytics storage, advertising user data, ad personalization, personalization storage, functionality storage and security storage. At present, the optional ones control nothing, because nothing on this site uses them. The two marked "essential" are the ones that remember your reading size and your choice.

Why we still ask

A club that plans trips for people who value plain dealing should not wait until a tracking tool exists before telling you how it would behave. So the rules are written first. Any tool added to this site must stay switched off until you have said yes to its category, must be named here, and must be removable by you with a single switch. We would rather lose a visit count than your trust.

The choice you make in the banner is also respected by your own browser tools: if you block storage altogether, the banner simply appears each time, and nothing on the site stops working. The reading-size buttons are the one convenience that depends on storage. They exist so that a page can be read comfortably, not so that we can learn anything about the reader, and the value they save is only the letter s, m or l.

If you ever notice a script on these pages that you think should not be there, please tell us at info@pelorix-travel-club.com. We will look at it the same day we read your message and answer in writing, because a policy that says one thing while the code does another would be worse than no policy at all.

Your cookie preferences

Switch each type on or off, then choose "Save Preferences". Because no optional tool runs today, the switches only record what you would want if one were added.

If a tool is added later

• We will name it and the company behind it on this page and on the Advertising Disclosure page before it starts to work.
• It will read your stored choice first and will stay off if you declined.
• We will update the date at the top of this page, and anyone who has already answered will be asked again if the purpose is new.
