Who runs this website and these services

1. What the website is

This site describes three services run from our office in Honmachi, Kanazawa: a one-hour cruise planning conversation, small-group day excursions that start at Kanazawa Station, and the planning of two- to five-night restful stays. Pace Markers and Companion Notes on the service pages are there to give an honest idea of what a day will be like. They are descriptions, not guarantees, and a real journey may differ in small ways because of weather, trail conditions, closures or the needs of the group on the day.

2. Enquiries, quotations and bookings

• Asking a question: sending a message, or phoning, does not create a contract and does not oblige you to buy anything.
• Quotations: a price quoted by email or phone is open for the period stated in it. Prices on the website are shown in Japanese yen and may be changed for future bookings.
• Booking: a journey is booked only when we have sent you a written confirmation and you have agreed to it. Until then, nothing is reserved for you.
• Your details: please give accurate names and contact details, and tell us about any mobility, dietary or other needs, so that the plan we write really fits you.

3. Availability

We do not publish a live calendar. Dates for day excursions, and room availability at a venue, are confirmed one request at a time and can change before you confirm. If a date you wanted is full, or an excursion needs more guests to run, we will say so plainly and offer another date rather than leave the answer open.

4. Using the website sensibly

• Do not use the site, or the message form, to send unlawful, abusive or misleading content, or to try to disturb or break into the site.
• Do not send us other people's personal information without their agreement.
• Do not copy the site, in whole or in part, to present it as your own or to suggest an official link with the club.
• You may print pages for your own use, for example the Companion Notes of a journey you are considering.

5. Information on the site, and health

We take care to keep the descriptions correct, but timetables, entrance fees, venue facilities and walking distances can change, and we may correct the site at any time without notice. Pelorix Travel Club arranges travel and leisure services. It is not a medical or care provider. Any health-related program that a hot-spring ryokan or resort offers is run by that venue's own qualified staff, and nothing on this site is medical advice or a promise of any benefit to your health. Please ask your own doctor whether a journey is suitable for you.

6. Photographs and written material

The photographs on this site are stock images chosen to show the kind of path, garden or waterside we plan around. They are not photographs of past groups or of a booked itinerary. The text, layout and name of the club belong to Pelorix Travel Club, and you may not reproduce them for commercial use without our written permission.

7. Links to other sites

Where a page of ours links to a venue, a ship line or a public office, that site is run by someone else. We cannot control it and we are not responsible for what it says or does, so please read its own terms and privacy notice.

8. Our responsibility

We are responsible for the services we agree to provide, as described in the Terms and Conditions and in the law. We are not liable for loss that was not reasonably foreseeable, for delays or interruptions of the website itself, or for things outside our control, such as a power failure at the hosting provider. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
