Pace is a personal choice
Two people can enjoy the same temple in very different ways. Our Pace Markers let each person choose theirs.
These are the ideas we return to whenever we plan a route, answer a phone call or decide what a journey should include.

The club began with a simple observation: people who love to travel do not stop loving it as the years pass, but they do start asking different questions. How far is the walk? Is there somewhere to sit? Who do I call?
Everything we do starts from those questions. They matter to us because they matter to the people we plan for.
We picture a place where anyone can say yes to a trip because they have all the information they need. No surprises about the walking, no small print they cannot read, no one to rush them.
Our vision is modest: that each journey ends with people feeling glad they went and curious about the next one.

Large type, plain language and honest descriptions save worry before it begins.
If the group needs a longer rest, the plan bends. A schedule exists to serve the guests.
We offer information and suggestions. We never ask you to hurry or to decide on the spot.
Our photographs show the paths and coastlines as they are, so you can picture the day truthfully.
Some questions are best answered in conversation. We keep a human on the phone for that reason.
We ask about dietary needs, mobility, sleeping preferences and anything else that helps a trip feel right. Then we write the plan around the person, not the other way around.
Family members and friends are always welcome to join a conversation, in the office or by video.
We keep what has always worked: a friendly guide, a printed plan, a warm welcome. We add new things only when they make a day easier, such as video consultations for those who prefer to talk from home.
After each outing, our guides write a short note about what went well and what could be gentler next time. That small habit has shaped many of our routes.
Prices are stated plainly. For restful stays, our fee covers planning and coordination, while accommodation and transport are quoted separately and clearly before anything is confirmed.
Where a venue offers health-related programs, those are provided by the venue's own qualified staff. We say so openly and we do not make health promises on anyone's behalf.
A club is a group of people who enjoy each other's company. A coach seat or a shared lunch table is where conversations start. We keep groups small so those conversations have room to happen.
We would like to be the club you return to for years. That means answering today's questions carefully, keeping our promises small and clear, and remembering what you told us last time.
We would be glad to hear from you. A short note or a phone call is all it takes to begin a conversation.
